CCRI looking for Placement Student for 2018/19

Our current placement student, Katie Hickford, with Matt Reed, at the CCRI’s ESRC Festival of Social Science stall at Cirencester Farmers’ Market in November 2017.

The Countryside and Community Research Institute is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant (Student Placement) to support the research output of the Institute. This vacancy is directed at full-time undergraduate students for whom the placement is a defined component of their course.

The successful applicant will commence the placement on 1st September 2018 and will be expected to become a fully functional team member and to make a genuine contribution to the output of the Institute during their placement.

To apply, you need to complete our application form, prepare a covering letter explaining why you want to be our placement student and what you will bring to the role. The letter should also include the names and contact details of two people who will provide references for you, one of whom should be one of your current academic staff or Tutor.

Applicants should email their application to Dr Robert Berry by 17:00hrs on Thursday 1st March. Interviews are expected to be held on Tuesday 20th March.
