CCRI Seminar – Looking into the dynamics of interpersonal resilience

Dilshaad Bundhoo

In this week’s CCRI seminar, on Thursday 26th April, Dilshaad Bundhoo will present her PhD work, which has developed a context based framework for understanding how relationships transform effectively at times of stress (interpersonal resilience) instead of breaking down.

Taking a pragmatic perspective, this socio-cognitive framework was built blending conceptual insights from interdisciplinary literature with qualitative field research using a philosophically coherent set theoretical tools.

The seminar seeks to open discussion on and explore how this framework can be developed further into a tool to aid in transforming confrontational interpersonal dynamics into constructive connection.

The seminar takes place between 12.15 and 13.15 hrs at the University of Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls Campus in Room OX LC203B. Seminars are free to attend, but please register your attendance by emailing ccri@glos.ac.uk.
