Animal health and welfare under scrutiny in upcoming CCRI Seminar

On the 19th April, the CCRI is pleased to welcome Professor David Main, Professor of Production Animal Health and Welfare at the Royal Agricultural University, who is presenting a seminar entitled “Are we admiring or helping solve the problem? Views from a veterinarian, policy practitioner & optimist”.

In this seminar David will draw on experience from previous intervention projects, such as Healthy Feet Project, REAL welfare, AssureWel and Hennovation, to consider how best the academic community can help both policy and practice deliver societal expectations.

The seminar will take place at the University of Gloucestershire Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester in room TC201 on Thursday, 19th April 2018. It will start promptly at 12.15 hrs and last one hour.

CCRI seminars are free to attend, but we request that you reserve your place on the seminar’s Eventbrite page.
