Julie Ingram and Hannah Chiswell attended a meeting last week in Aberdeen for the Agridemo-F2F project (Building an interactive Agridemo–Hub community enhancing farmer to farmer learning).
This EU H2020 project looks at best practice in farm demonstration. It will prepare an inventory of open commercial farms that engage in demonstration activities across Europe, detailing the sectors, themes and topics on which they provide expertise. It will also develop an interactive Farmdemo hub which farmers and advisers can use to identify demonstration farms relevant to them.
The meeting included visits to demonstration farms in the Aberdeen area.
CCRI are work package leaders for WP4 which will research best practice in case studies across Europe. Jane Mills is also working on this project.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020
