Dan Keech is at at the 8th Nordic Geographers’ Meeting, held in Trondheim, Norway, where the sun does not set on scholarship! Travelling with Dr Mike Ricketts, from the School of Art and Design at the University of the West of England in Bristol, the pair gave a presentation on materialities and the performance of routines as a consequence of the devastating floods in the Somerset Levels in 2013 and 2014. In addition, Dan presented work-in-progress from the Horizon 2020 project ROBUST which outlined how notions of the circular economy and food waste management are being discussed in our Living Lab context in Gloucestershire.
