Today the CCRI will be involved in welcoming the Indonesian Ambassador to the United Kingdom as he visits the county and the University.
His Excellency Mr. Teuku Mohammad Hamzah Thayeb, the Indonesian Ambassador, has held the post since 2012. Whilst visiting the University, he will be investigating the environmental and sustainability credentials which have been multi-award winning in the higher education sector and the various areas of research that occur – which help to build multi-disciplinary partnerships and inform policy development.
Chris Short, from CCRI will be presenting details of the work of CCRI and, as director for the postgraduate course in Sustainable Environments, informing His Excellency of the increasing number of Indonesian students attending the University and the range of partnerships that have been developed with the country.
