Dan Keech has had an article printed in a celebration issue of LEAF, a seasonal newspaper for trees, woods and people published by Common Ground.
Dan’s article is on community orchards and he explains why community orchards are healthier both for us and for local wildlife.
Dan has a background in orchard conservation and has researched into orchard conservation in England and Germany. He made a presentation based on this research at a conference organized by the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty earlier this year. In addition, Dan’s PhD investigated how social enterprises in England and Germany achieve environmental objectives (orchard conservation) by making interventions in the market.
