CCRI to develop social indicators for Agri-environment Schemes

CCRI, with University of Exeter, has recently started working on a project for Natural England to develop methods for monitoring and evaluating the social outcomes of agri-environment schemes. The project, led by Jane Mills, will undertake a review of evidence to identify a shortlist of key social indicators which can be used to assess the social outcomes from agri-environment schemes and how these link to environmental outcomes, where applicable. Once the social indicators have been identified, the project will then develop a methodology to trial the measuring, recording, analysing and reporting on the social indicators. The project is expected to be completed by November 2019.
