A CCRI research team worked with the Austrian Institute for Regional Studies and Spatial Planning on a research project commissioned by the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI) to outline the potential of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) with regards to creating rural employment.

Going the Extra Mile (GEM)

A five-year evaluation of the Going the Extra Mile (GEM) project begun in 2016, which further develops and applies social value research techniques. Funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and National Lottery Community Fund, GEM aims to move the county’s most vulnerable adults closer to employment, training and education.
