During the course of the Valerie project, consulting stakeholders in ten case studies across Europe has been a key element of the projects co-innovation methodology.
In the process the project has asked stakeholders about their research needs and provided them with information from existing research on innovations. Stakeholders have then tested and screened this information in case study trials and demonstrations.
These trials/demonstrations (including results) have been summarised in the VALERIE Case Study Stakeholder trial/demonstration leaflets available here http://www.valerie.eu/index.php/downloads
The trial results will provide on the ground feedback which will be useful for practitioners and researchers alike, they range from formal variety trials in a potato supply chain in Poland to using LiDAR to inform a forest management plan in the Spanish Pyrenees.
The CCRI team (Julie Ingram, Pete Gaskell, Jane Mills and Janet Dwyer) have been coordinating the case study activities working with the project’s Case Study Partners over the last 4 years.
