The CCRI is currently carrying out a monitoring and evaluation of the Foresters’ Forest, a Heritage Lottery Funded Landscape Partnership Programme, which aims to raise awareness and participation in the built, natural and cultural heritage in the Forest of Dean. The programme consists of 38 projects, which are being delivered by 32 partner organisations and community groups.
The purpose of the evaluation is to assess and demonstrate the effectiveness of the use of Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) grants towards the Funds’ objectives.
Foresters’ Forest has launched a survey to find out how much residents and visitors know about the built, natural and cultural heritage of the Forest, as well as understanding more about what makes the Forest special to people.
The programme is also offering anyone who takes part in the survey the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win some fantastic prizes, including a champagne afternoon tea for two at Tudor Farmhouse, a family ticket to Perrygrove Railway or an exclusive summer evening experience seeing Nightjars with the RSPB!
For a full list of prizes and to take part in the survey please visit the survey webpage. The survey will run until 31 March 2018.
