The EU Horizon 2020 project, SUFISA – SUstainable FInance for Sustainable Agriculture and fisheries, comes to its conclusion this month with a high profile conference in Krakow, Poland. The project, which began in May 2015 involved a consortium of 13 partners, and all will be in attendance at the event, in addition to a range of European and National level stakeholders.
The CCRI will be represented by Damian Maye and Mauro Vigani, both of whom will be playing a key role in the two-day event where there will be a keynote speach from Jan Falkowski a specialist in institutional economics from the University of Warsaw.
The two day event will include presentations of the findings from the project with regard to the various case-studies that were conducted within the member states involved. In the case of CCRI, Damian and Mauro will chair a session detailing findings from the project concerning supply-chain arrangements. During this, they will also present a publication written during the project with fellow academics.
There will also be a chance for those involved to reflect upon their experiences as part of the project, in order to take any insights forward for future research.
