CCRI researchers contribute chapter to new book

Another book publication success for researchers in CCRI. Mauro Vigani, Janet Dwyer and John Powell have contributed to a new book analysing agricultural labour markets and policies in EU and North America.

The XXVIII European Society for Rural Sociology Congress"Rural Futures in a Complex World" is taking place this week in Trondheim, Norway. A trio of researchers from CCRI will be in attendance and presenting research findings.

Flying down to Lima

On July 1st, the 17th Biennial IASC conference will take place in Lima, Peru. The conference theme is 'In Defense of the Commons: Challenges, Innovation, and Action', and will feature three researchers from CCRI. Sea Anglers’ opinions wanted

Many people make their living from the sea, while many more visit the coast and the sea for pleasure, an esential part of which is angling. Defra has commissioned CCRI, to carry out research finding out more about sea anglers, their ideas and backgrounds, and part of this work is an online survey.

CCRI researchers feature in new book

Last year, CCRI researchers had a paper published in a special issue of the journal ‘Space and Polity’. Due to the interest in this special edition, which profiled "the varied contributions of geographical inquiry to scholarly debates on the causes, meaning and implications of the UKs decision to Brexit from the EU", the journal will now be published as a book.
