Julie Urquhart and Damian Maye both have papers accepted for publication, with Julie's being published as open access.

Recent research conducted by CCRI concerning a new social survey of fishers has been published by Defra. Dr Julie Urquhart who led the research will present findings at the ICES conference in Gothenburg.

Over the summer period, two papers have been published that have had involvement from a number of CCRI researchers. Dan Keech is co-author on a paper that will be available next year, whilst Damian Maye, Julie Urquhart and Mauro Vigani contributed to a paper associated with the SURE-Farm project.

Since April 2019, a team from CCRI have been working with colleagues from the University of Newcastle on a Defra commissioned project about how commercial fishers and sea anglers engage with marine management and science in England. Project leader, Matt Reed has provided an update on this project which has had extensive public involvement.

Julie Ingram, one of the CCRI's most prodigious publishers has joined the team of Co-Editors at The Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension.

At RSA House in London last night, the RSA Food, Farming and Countryside Commission launched their new report. As one of their advisors, Janet Dwyer attended the event, which was attended by around two hundred people.

Another book publication success for researchers in CCRI. Mauro Vigani, Janet Dwyer and John Powell have contributed to a new book analysing agricultural labour markets and policies in EU and North America.

The XXVIII European Society for Rural Sociology Congress"Rural Futures in a Complex World" is taking place this week in Trondheim, Norway. A trio of researchers from CCRI will be in attendance and presenting research findings.

Julie Ingram and Hannah Chiswell are currently in Sicily presenting findings from the AgriDemo F2F project at the 24th European seminar on extension (and) education.
