Update on CCRI Fishing and Angling research

Since April 2019, a team from CCRI have been working with colleagues from the University of Newcastle on a Defra commissioned project about how commercial fishers and sea anglers engage with marine management and science in England. Project leader, Matt Reed has provided an update on this project which has had extensive public involvement.

CCRI researchers contribute chapter to new book

Another book publication success for researchers in CCRI. Mauro Vigani, Janet Dwyer and John Powell have contributed to a new book analysing agricultural labour markets and policies in EU and North America.

CCRI trio travel to Trondheim

The XXVIII European Society for Rural Sociology Congress"Rural Futures in a Complex World" is taking place this week in Trondheim, Norway. A trio of researchers from CCRI will be in attendance and presenting research findings.

Flying down to Lima

On July 1st, the 17th Biennial IASC conference will take place in Lima, Peru. The conference theme is 'In Defense of the Commons: Challenges, Innovation, and Action', and will feature three researchers from CCRI. One of these, John Powell, former president gives some details about their forthcoming trip to South America.
